My shit. Yo.

So, when it does it’s always a little awkward…but I really need to gush for a moment.

Every date just gets better.  It was only Waffle House, but I got there first (because I am forever keeping him waiting …like 15+ minutes) so that I could make the “hey, I decided to wait on you for a change” joke.  It was appreciated….but, I was cold from sitting there with my car off, because I try to do my part (and gas is expensive).  We sat down, talked for a moment, and I said “Wow, I am still cold”  He did not hand me his jacket….he picked it up, got up, came to my side of the table and put his jacket over me, and sat back down.  Now, maybe I’m just easy to please or just have dated really shitty men (maybe both?) but I thought that was sweet.  Serious brownie points.  …Also brownie points for sharing a few bites of his most excellent chocolate chip waffle.

I think I should do what I can to keep this one around, yes?
